The bases we served at.

While I was in Southeast Asia with the 4th SOS, I was assigned to Danang AB. From time to time, when my aircraft headed out for maintenance at Nha Trang AB (later Phan Rang AB), we would drop in to Pleiku AB and Phu Cat AB to drop off a few items or pick up a few items along the way. The only other base I got to spend time at was Chu Lai when the bomb dump went up at Danang and we evacuated with all five aircraft for a few days. On this page I would like to provide a timeline of the bases and dates for AC-47D aircraft assignments.
